Possessing a portable crib is a lifesaver for traveling, assuring that your baby will always have a comfortable, safe place to rest no matter where you are. Preserve safety when buying a portable crib and check for: Durability Sturdiness Construction of materials Comfort of the mattress Any small buttons or snaps that might cause a problem with little fingers
Ultimately, portable cribs are not intended to take the place of regular cribs. They should be exploited only while on the go or to rest for a short period of time. They are not recommended for leaving your child unattended for a prolonged period of time. Unfortunately, numerous portable cribs have been recalled over the years due to this; so, if purchasing second-hand, be sure to check the Consumer Product Safety Commission's website, www.cpsc.gov.
