The Britax Marathoncar seat features the latest in safety and security for your baby or child while traveling. The Britax Corporation prides itself on its safety tests and safety features. The Marathon provides the LATCH anchoring system (which all newer automobiles are equipped with), however, it will also work in a vehicle that does not feature LATCH.
The car seat also grants the Britax patented Versa-Tether system (which is an added safety feature) making it impossible for the seat to tilt forward or backward should the vehicle be involved in an accident. The Marathon is a convertible seat, meaning that it can serve as a rear-facing car seat for infants and also be converted to a front-facing seat for older babies.
