Tip of the Week

Embrace all the basics of baby clothing. When filling your nursery dresser, the following are some baby clothes essentials. Depending on the amount of laundry you want to do, refer to this checklist as a place to get started: A minimum of three sets of flame resistant baby sleepers with feet in the winter or light cotton in the summer.Between six to eight baby sized t-shirts, sleeve length will be dependant on the weather. At least eight pairs of newborn socks as they are easy to misplace. A couple sleeping sacks or baby buntings to cuddle in.Several sun bonnets or warm hats, depending on the season. Four to five receiving blankets as they are perfect for swaddling, nursing and baby floor time. Six to eight onsies, one-piece cotton clothing with the snaps between the legs. Around eight pairs of pants or shorts to match the shirts.

This basic baby clothing wardrobe will simply get you started, as you will likely want to purchase additional baby outfits to go along with this list.
